I Love Charrette

14 Oct

I had my first professional charrette today, although Josh said it’s not as intense and productive as a typical charrette. I heard of a lot of good ideas: some really strong and may become the spine of future design, the others are also important and will be complementary and indispensable parts of the big idea.

What moved me most is how sensitive designers are to the historic heritage, geography, climate, biology and culture. I love the philosophical thinking of being, and look forward to seeing how those ideas translated into physical design.
